An exam is being conducted to raise awareness among children about traffic rules with 3477 students participating

Karnal, November 20: In accordance with the guidelines of the Director General of Police, Haryana, and the Additional Director General of Police, Traffic and Highways (Haryana), a school-level road safety quiz competition was held at eleven exam centers in Karnal district regarding traffic safety in all districts. Approximately 3,477 students from Karnal district who passed the first round participated in the second round on November 20.
This exam was conducted at the block level. Students who placed first, second, and third at the district level will be eligible to participate in the range-level competition. This will be followed by a state-level competition. Prizes will be awarded to students who placed first, second, and third at all levels. SHO, Highway Inspector Darshan Singh, and his team, including Assistant Sub-Inspector Ajay Kumar (Coordinator), and Assistant Sub-Inspector Jitendra Singh, supervised the exam.
Karnal Superintendent of Police (SP) stated that children remember the lessons they learn during childhood for life. If children are given a good education in their childhood, they can become good citizens in the future, because childhood is a golden age and the right time to learn and teach. The Superintendent of Police stated that the local education department played a significant role in organizing the quiz competition on traffic rules.
He urged schoolchildren to follow traffic rules willingly, not out of fear of the police. He stated that by following traffic rules, children can make a significant contribution to strengthening the traffic system. He stated that a district-level quiz competition on traffic rules will soon be organized, and the students who secure first and second place in this competition will be honored.
He urged all school and college students to follow traffic rules themselves and inspire others around them to follow them, so that the traffic system can be further strengthened.
