SAS Nagar, May 4 - Shri Ravinder Singh Nagi, former OSD of former Punjab Chief Minister Shri Charanjit Singh Channi, has joined Shiromani Akali Dal under the leadership of Shiromani Akali Dal National Vice President Jaswant Singh Bhullar. He was inducted into the Akali Dal last evening during the Punjab Bachao Yatra by Sukhbir Singh Badal, president of the Akali Dal. On this occasion, Mr. Badal said that Mr. Nagi will be given due honor in the party.

Before leaving to join the party, during the meeting, the vice president of the party Mr. Jaswant Singh Bhullar said that the Akali Dal is the only party which can protect the interests of Punjab by fighting with the Delhi Darbar. So everyone should work together to strengthen the party. On this occasion, apart from others, PAC members of the party Manjit Singh Mann, Pradeep Singh Bharj, Karam Singh Babra and Gurcharan Singh Nanna, senior leaders of Ramgarhia community Darshan Singh Kalsi, Narinder Singh Sandhu, Surat Singh Kalsi (President Ramgarhia Sabha, Mohali), Nirmal Singh Sabharwal, Didar Singh Kalsi, Lakhvir Singh Hunjhan, Balwinder Singh Kalsi, Jaspal Singh Virak, Narayan Singh, Surjit Singh Matharu, Surinder Singh Jandu, Lakhbir Singh Sandhu, Tarsem Singh Khokhar and other dignitaries were present.
