SDM Manjit Kaur honored the progressive farmers by going to the fields

Patiala, October 12 - Patiala SDM Manjit Kaur honored the progressive farmers of village Bakhshiwal by visiting their fields. On this occasion, he visited various villages of the sub-division and had a special meeting with the farmers who did not burn the paddy stubble and he appreciated the work being done by the farmers to save the environment.

On this occasion, he visited various villages of the sub-division and had a special meeting with the farmers who did not burn the paddy stubble and he appreciated the work being done by the farmers to save the environment.
Addressing on this occasion, Manjit Kaur said that other farmers should take guidance from the farmers who dispose of stubble with in situ and ex situ techniques and adopt crop diversification to increase their income and work for the cleanliness of the environment. He said that the farmers who manage stubble are our heroes who think first about the harm caused to the people by rising above their own benefit.
He said that the farmers who did not set fire to the stubble during the previous years are being honored by the district administration. Meanwhile, SDM Manjit Kaur also visited the market of Bakhshiwal village and reviewed ongoing procurement arrangements. On this occasion, DSP Manoj Gorsi, SDO of Punjab Pollution Control Board Mohit Singla and officer of Agriculture Department Prabhadeep Singh were also present with him.
