
“Nasha Mukti Yatra” was taken out in various villages of the district under the campaign against war on drugs led by MLA Kulwant Singh

Under the leadership of Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab government is conducting a “Nasha Mukti Yatra” in various villages of the district under the campaign against drugs, in which members of village level defence committees, village Panch-Sarpanch, respected persons and a large number of people are participating.

Under the leadership of Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab government is conducting a “Nasha Mukti Yatra” in various villages of the district under the campaign against drugs, in which members of village level defence committees, village Panch-Sarpanch, respected persons and a large number of people are participating.
Meanwhile, under the leadership of Constituency MLA Mohali, Kulwant Singh, a ‘Nasha Mukti Yatra’ was conducted in villages Nagari, Giga Majra, Midhe Majra and Dairi today to make people aware of drugs.
On this occasion, he inspired women and youth and said that we should all recognize our inner strength and make our significant contribution in making Punjab drug free. He said that the small information shared by the people can prove to be valuable for the administration and the younger generation. He said that while the government is taking action against drug smugglers, it is taking care of our younger generation trapped in this quagmire and they are being treated in drug de-addiction centers.
MLA Kulwant Singh said that drugs are a leprosy, every youth needs to be saved from it. He said that now the Village Defense Committees at the village level have also been given the responsibility to guide the youth properly and motivate them to stay away from drugs by linking them with sports.
On this occasion, he appealed to the youth to stay away from drugs and also play an active role in freeing the society from this evil. On this occasion, all the attendees took a pledge not to do drugs, to create awareness to avoid drugs and to help drug addicts in getting rid of drugs.
