Una, October 19 - It is required to get photo/videography done of the preparations, processes and various incidents during the elections related to the Lok Sabha General Elections-2024. Giving this information, District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner Raghav Sharma said that 50 to 60 photo/videography cameras will be required for all these works. He said that all the interested photo/video studio firms can submit their tenders along with earnest money of Rs 10,000 in bank draft payable in the name of Tehsildar Election on or before 1 pm on 2nd November in Tehsildar Election Room No. 212 Mini Secretariat, Una. Are. He informed that the tenders will be opened by the Purchasing Committee in the office of the Additional Deputy Commissioner in the presence of the tenderers or those authorized by them on 3rd November at 3 pm.

He told that it is mandatory for the photo/videographer to have adequate experience in photo/videography. Photo/Videography can be done at any place in district Una and at any time (day and night) during the election process. It will be mandatory for the photo/videographer to do the photo/videography as per the instructions of the authorized officer with whom he will be assigned. The tenderer will have to provide photo/videographer immediately upon receipt of short notice. DVD of a good company will have to be used for recording and the data of photo/videography taken daily will have to be prepared in DVD as per the instructions of the video surveillance team in-charge and submitted to the office of the Assistant Returning Officer (SDM) of the concerned assembly constituency.
He said that for photography/videography of rallies organized by political parties/candidates during elections, photo/videographers will have to be made available at short notice. If there is any technical fault in the cameras etc., then other suitable cameras will have to be arranged immediately, otherwise the penalty amount for delay will have to be paid which will be decided by the committee. Remuneration for overtime after a person's eight-hour duty shift will be paid on the basis of hourly or half-day wages. Only eight hours of duty will be paid as per the approved daily rate. He said that he will have full right to cancel the tender without assigning any reason. Bills for photography/videography will be accepted only along with a copy of the date-wise prepared worksheet and work order. It is mandatory to mention the actual time, date and year of the recorded incident in every photo and video. He said that if the work of the service provider firm is not found satisfactory, then the work will be handed over to the tenderer firm with the second lowest rate. He said that if there are any other conditions, they will be informed at the time of opening the tender.
