Una, October 19 - As per the instructions of the Election Commission of India, a special brief revision of the photo voter lists is being done on the basis of the qualifying date of January 1, 2024. Giving this information, District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner Raghav Sharma said that publicity material will be printed under the SVEEP program to make the general public aware about this revision. Apart from this, various types of materials related to the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2024 will also be printed. He told that for all these works, all the local printer firms can submit the tenders in a sealed envelope with a bank draft of Rs 5,000 payable in the name of Tehsildar Election on or before 1 pm on 31st October. He said that all the tenders received will be opened on November 1 at 3 pm in the presence of the tenderers or their authorized representatives in the office of the District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner.

He said that the bidder will have to deposit Rs 5,000 in the form of bank draft along with the tender. The allotted work will have to be completed within the stipulated time. Paper for printing should be of good quality. Printing should be neat. He informed that in case of amendment or withdrawal of the tender after the deadline for submission of tender and during the validity period and failure to execute the contract as per the terms and conditions stipulated in the tender documents, the earnest money deposited by the tenderer will not be refunded. He said that if the work of the service provider firm is not found satisfactory, then the work will be handed over to the tendering firm with the second lowest rate. He said that there will be full right to cancel the tender without giving any reason. Apart from this, if there are any other conditions then they will be informed on the spot.
