Una, December 31- To ensure smooth movement of traffic in Una city, SDM Una Vishwa Mohan Dev Chauhan has banned unauthorized business activities on both sides of the National Highway with immediate effect. This step has been taken in public interest so that there is no hindrance in the regular movement of emergency services and vehicles.

This step has been taken in public interest so that there is no hindrance in the regular movement of emergency services and vehicles.
In fact, due to the sale of various items organized by business establishments in Una city on the occasion of New Year, many shopkeepers and other vendors have extended their shops towards the national highway, which is affecting the smooth flow of traffic and causing inconvenience to the general public and the supply of emergency services. This order has been issued with the aim of improving this situation and maintaining smooth traffic system.
Under the order, hawkers, extended shop structures and temporary vending structures causing obstructions and disruptions in traffic on both sides of the national highway have been banned with immediate effect. Besides, the area from Mini Secretariat to Galua Chowk and from Mini Secretariat to Regional Hospital Una on the national highway has been declared a no-vending zone.
The SDM has directed SHO Una, Executive Officer of MC Una and Traffic Incharge, City Una to ensure strict compliance of this order. Violation of the order will attract punitive action under the relevant laws.
The sub-divisional administration has appealed to everyone to follow this order in the larger public interest.
