Hoshiarpur- District Planning Committee Chairperson Karamjit Kaur said that under the leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, historic steps have been taken to make Punjab an industrially leading state, which is giving a big boost to the industries. Welcoming these policy decisions, she thanked the Chief Minister and termed it as the 'beginning of a new industrial revolution'.
The District Planning Committee Chairperson said that due to the visionary thinking of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and his commitment to make Punjab economically strong, an investment friendly environment has been created for the industries. Now through the Fast Track Punjab Portal, approval for industries will be given in just 45 days, which will save both time and resources of entrepreneurs.
She said that investments up to Rs 125 crore will be approved in just 3 days and the process of land user change has also been simplified. Apart from this, more than 260 industrial plots have been made available and 52 industrial focal points are being modernized at a cost of Rs 300 crore, which is a part of the industrial revolution of the Punjab government.
The Chairperson said that facilities like incentives up to Rs 250 crore to industries, self-certification system for building plan and sustainability certificate, land feasibility report in 15 days and simple and one-time process for fire NOC are part of this revolution.
Thanking Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Karamjit Kaur said that these steps will create new employment opportunities for the youth in entire Punjab including Hoshiarpur and the state will become economically strong.
