Agra, May 19 - A case has been registered against two persons including an unidentified person after a video of two persons raising Pakistan Zindabad slogans during a gathering in Shahganj area here went viral.
Agra, May 19 - A case has been registered against two persons including an unidentified person after a video of two persons raising Pakistan Zindabad slogans during a gathering in Shahganj area here went viral.
Police officials said the two persons have been identified as Gopal Chahar and Arjun Girij. "Recently, a Tiranga Yatra was taken out in Shahganj area," local Congress leader Apurv Sharma and the complainant told news agency PTI.
"The video of this yatra went viral on social media in which slogans of 'Pakistan Zindabad' were heard." He said that this action which threatened the integrity and unity of India has hurt my feelings and those of all patriots. A complaint has been lodged with the police in this regard.
Assistant Commissioner of Police Mayank Tiwari said, "A case has been registered against two named and some unidentified persons under Section 152 of the Indian Penal Code at Shahganj police station on Sunday night. In this regard, the viral video will be sent to the forensic lab for investigation. After this further action will be taken.
