Indian stock market continues to fluctuate, rupee weakens against dollar

Mumbai, February 27- Indian benchmark indices opened broadly flat on Thursday amid mixed signals from the stock market as buying was seen in financial services and metal sectors in early trade. At around 9.31 am, the Sensex was trading 9.44 points or 0.01 per cent higher at 74,592.68 while the Nifty was trading 6.30 points or 0.03 per cent higher at 22,553.85.

At around 9.31 am, the Sensex was trading 9.44 points or 0.01 per cent higher at 74,592.68 while the Nifty was trading 6.30 points or 0.03 per cent higher at 22,553.85.
During this time, Bajaj Finance, IndusInd Bank, Bajaj Finserv, M&M, Tata Steel, HDFC Bank, Zomato, Sun Pharma, ICICI Bank and Bharti Airtel were the top gainers in the Sensex pack. While Ultratech Cement, Tech Mahindra, Asian Paints, Infosys, Axis Bank and Hindustan Unilever Ltd were the top losers. Meanwhile, the rupee fell 22 paise to 87.41 against the US dollar in early trade.
