Kapurthala- A special meeting was organized by the Youth Sports Welfare Board under the leadership of Chairman Rajiv Walia at Fighter Sports Zone, Kapurthala. In this meeting, Chairman Rajiv Walia and his team members welcomed and congratulated the Karate players of Fighter Sports Zone who returned from Karate training camp Dalhousie (Himachal Pradesh).
Chairman of Youth Sports Welfare Board Rajiv Walia said that the players selected for international competition from Fighter Sports Zone in this camp are Sarabjot Singh Lali, Gurnoor Singh, Manraj Singh Lali. He said that these selected Karate players soon participated in international competitions and showed good performance and gained knowledge about new techniques of Karate.
Addressing all the youth, he said that sports is not entertainment, make your career in it. Move forward through sports and get government job opportunities. Sensei Naveen Kumar said that in this camp all the Karate players learned about the new techniques of Karate and performed well.
On this occasion, Paramjit Singh, Coach Avneet Kaur, Coach Awadhesh Kumar, Santokh Singh, Rajinder Singh, Tarsem Singh were present.
