Hoshiarpur - Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain said about the situation arising after Indo-Pak tension in the district that the district administration is ready to deal with any kind of situation. She said that there is no shortage of essential commodities like oil, cooking gas, medicines and ration in the district.
Therefore, people should not promote black marketing by hoarding these commodities without thinking. She warned those hoarding and black marketing of essential commodities that strict action will be taken if found doing so.
She appealed to the people of the district not to pay attention to the rumors and unnecessary advice being spread through social media. She said that every information, news or advice should be confirmed and implemented and only then it should be shared further. She said that such news or advice should not be shared without thinking, which may create an atmosphere of panic among the general public.
