Rajpura, May 19- Rajpura Traffic Police in collaboration with TDI Connaught Estate distributed around 600 free helmets at Gagan Chowk, Rajpura and made people aware about traffic rules.
Speaking to reporters on the occasion, City Police Station SHO Inspector Kirpal Singh and Rajpura Traffic Incharge ASI Gurbachan Singh said that around 600 free helmets were distributed in collaboration with TDI Connaught Estate.
They urged people to wear helmets while driving two-wheelers so that there is no harm in case of an accident.
On the occasion, Connaught Estate staff and traffic police team were present, and people were made aware about the importance of helmets.
