Mahilpur- In the struggle of life, courageous people always achieve high and true goals. Those who curse fate without hard work, remain where they are. Respected litterateur Shri Mukesh Kumar Ji, who has worked hard in his life, currently resides in Australia.
He started his life from village Mahila Gehilan of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar district, then with courage he became a traveler of difficult and easy paths. While living a simple life, he became a companion of high thinking, and after getting degrees up to M.Com and B.Ed, he dedicated himself to education. There was only one thing going on in his mind that the surroundings should be bright and to make the surroundings beautiful and true, education is very important.
To achieve this objective, he planted a tree of education- Sant Baba Seva Singh Khalsa Public School Naura. This school, giving proof of his hard work, honesty, courage and dedication, is still serving the area with great pride. This school is being run by Mr. Mukesh Kumar and his family with a missionary spirit. Through which the blooming buds are decorated and nurtured.
When we started Nikkiyan Karumblan magazine in 1995, he became its reader. As a reader, he took inspiration from it and started creating poetry. His first poem was also published in this magazine. Inspired by this, he started creating more compositions, which continued to adorn this magazine.
When I kept appreciating his compositions, he got inspired and kept moving ahead. He started reading the mentality of the children by becoming a child with them and when he got to know the mentality of the children, he started creating poems of their level.
When the children read these poems, they started becoming crazy about him. The reason was the childish thoughts in his compositions. When children get to hear things similar to themselves, they get so mixed up that they even forget themselves. In this way, there is so much interest and joy in the creations of Shri Mukesh Ji that children forget themselves and become one with the creations.
By reading this book of creations that engrave golden letters on every page of life, Hum Hain Hona Paas is being published after a very long time. That is why I have always been encouraging him. But he is so busy in his work that he does not even think of such things. You can yourself imagine how busy people living abroad are.
When he used to come to India, I would tell him only one thing that he should get his book published because this record cannot be maintained in any other way. The poems published in Karumblan News and Nikkiyan Karumblan Bal Patrika awakened this flame in him again and he again became active in writing. As a result of this activity, this book has reached you.
By reading this book that explores every page of child life, Hum Hain Hona Paas sows new dreams in children. These are the dreams of exploring the depths of life and living life in the right way. How important are books and children's magazines in decorating and grooming a child's life? This poet has written wonderful poems about all this. These poems prepare one to stand up for rights, truth and become the only means to achieve success in life.
These poems, which are inspiring for children and fill their lives with light, light up the paths of life. I have no hesitation in saying that the readers and children who read these poems will become successful people in the struggle of life. The real purpose of their creation is also to save the values ??that are being eroded in today's time so that the coming generation can become ideal citizens.
On May 11, 1965, Shri Mukesh Kumar ji was born in the village of Mahil Gehilan to father Gurdial Chand and mother Lajjavati. His younger sister Parveen Kumari is the goddess of inspiration and love for him. His parents left no stone unturned in moulding his personality. With their honest earnings, they educated Shri Mukesh Ji and made him a traveller of high goals. The lessons given by his parents became his companions in elevating his life.
That is why even today he gives priority to philanthropic works. After passing 10th from the Government School of Mahil Gehilan, he obtained a B.Com degree in first division from Guru Nanak College, Sukhchainana, Phagwara. Similarly, he completed M.Com from Shimla University and B.Ed in first division from Faridkot College in 1991. Instead of doing a job, he became a job provider. By establishing Sant Baba Sewa Singh Khalsa Public School Naura, District Nawanshahr in 1992, he employed about 20 employees. His efforts not only generated employment but also added a new chapter in the field of education. The children studying in the school are making their parents, school and area proud by achieving great achievements in every field.
Like a skilled psychologist, he not only studies the psyche of children, but also recruits such employees who are dedicated to this field with body and soul. His life partner Prem Lata is playing an important role in these works. His daughter Navdeep Kaur Aman and son Ashman Kumar are also following the paths laid by their parents.
From 1997 to 2002, he performed the duties of a government teacher in the villages of Surapur and Bahiram. Later, he raised the flag of Punjab and Punjabi culture on the soil of Australia. To promote and propagate the Punjabi language, he contacted the institutions there and started teaching the Punjabi language. Being a dedicated teacher, he is crazy about education and students.
