Maur Mandi, July 11- Due to heavy rain last night, the streets of Ward No. 3 of Maur Kalan were completely submerged, water entered the houses and water accumulated 2 feet high in the streets. Due to lack of drainage, the villagers have been facing the problem of sewer for a long time. The water accumulated in the streets has troubled the people.
They say that their pleas are not being heard anywhere, they know where to go. They said that the officials of the sewerage department have been informed about this many times and protests have also been held, but the officials and the government are not listening to them.
There is so much water accumulated in the streets that children have missed school and people are forced to stay at home. People are falling prey to terrible diseases. Drinking water mixed with sewer is coming into the houses. People said that if this problem is not resolved, they will be forced to take the path of struggle.
