Mohali- A separate initiative was organized by the youth of Sector 79 under the leadership of Aam Aadmi Party District Youth President and Club Patron Gurpreet Singh Bains in Sector 79 under the slogan of "Leave Mobiles and Adopt Games" by taking only the children of their sector and organizing 8-day games in Park No. 12. 
The aim was to get the children away from their mobiles and bring them to the park grounds. To a large extent, this effort of Gurpreet Bains seems to have succeeded somewhere.
The games were jointly inaugurated on April 19 by Mohali MLA Honorable Kulwant Singh's brother and District Planning Board Chairman Madam Prabhjot Kaur. After this, where different personalities attended daily during these 8 days, Honorable Member Parliament Sardar Malvinder Singh Kang arrived on April 25 and made these games a grand success. 
Volleyball and badminton matches were also held there with the players. Apart from political leaders, various stars from the film world, famous singer Kanwar Grewal, who had reached 79, congratulated the youth for this unique initiative and encouraged them. 
Taking another initiative, these youth, instead of making any leader or any other film personality the chief guest on the last day of these games, made the senior citizens of their sector, who distributed prizes to all the children. In volleyball, the B team of Sector 79 won 4-1. In badminton, Jyotparkash Kaur defeated Manreet 3-1 in the final and secured the first place. 
In the boys' competition, Yugraj defeated Yash 3-2. In the women's competition, Sonia Mahajan defeated Harmandeep and secured the first place. In the badminton competitions, The fact that 123 entries were received from Sector 79 alone is a clear testament to the success of these games.
These games, filled with excitement, concluded with a promise to meet again in November.
