Garhshanker- Lecturer Pawan Kumar Sharma was born on 5 April 1967 in village Jhonewal of Bait area to father Shri Bhagat Ram Dharam and mother Sheela Devi. Pawan Kumar Sharma, who has passed BSc, B.Ed, Double MA, received his early education from the village school and topped the school. Later he completed B.Ed from RK Arya College Nawanshahr. While he obtained B.Ed degree from DAV Hoshiarpur and MA degree from Punjab University Chandigarh.
Pawan Kumar Sharma was appointed as Science Master in Government Senior Secondary School Binewal in government service on 7 April 1994 and after promotion on 25 November 2024, he was promoted to Government Senior Secondary School Gurubishanpuri (Bhawanipur) and took over the post of Lecturer. Pawan Kumar Sharma, a very hardworking, noble and calm person, has been honoured thrice by Education Secretary Krishan Kumar IAS for his excellent services and once by DC Hoshiarpur with a letter of appreciation.
Lecturer Pawan Kumar Sharma was also honoured with the Best Teacher Award by the In-Service Training Centre. Now, after nearly 31 years and 1 month of impeccable service, Pawan Kumar Sharma is retiring as a lecturer from Secondary School Gurbishanpuri Bhawanipur on 30 April.
On this occasion, the entire staff is giving him a warm farewell party. It is worth mentioning that many students have secured 100% marks in the subjects Science and Punjabi taught by Pawan Kumar Sharma. He also has the distinction of being the first science master of his village.
