Seminar organized by DSP Traffic at Kharar to create awareness about traffic rules

Kharar (Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar), April 29: Under the directions given by Mr. Deepak Pareek, Senior Superintendent of Police, District SAS Nagar, a public meeting was held by Mr. Karnail Singh, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Traffic at Dussehra Ground Kharar yesterday.

Kharar (Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar), April 29: Under the directions given by Mr. Deepak Pareek, Senior Superintendent of Police, District SAS Nagar, a public meeting was held by Mr. Karnail Singh, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Traffic at Dussehra Ground Kharar yesterday.
During this public meeting, people were made aware about the ill effects of drugs. Apart from this, detailed information about traffic rules was given to the public. He appealed to people not to drive under the influence of drugs and to make others aware about this, not to drive under the age of 18, not to drive in lanes, not to use pressure horns, not to park vehicles on the road properly, to use indicators while turning left and right, not to burst crackers on bullet-motorcycles intentionally.
He stressed on the scooter/motorcycle driver as well as the person sitting behind to wear a good quality ISI marked helmet. He especially made people aware about standing at the red light even when there is no one coming or going from any direction. He also said that we should follow traffic rules not to avoid challans but to be good citizens for the safety of ourselves and others.
