Patiala: 29 April 2025- Coach Gurbaz of Elite Lawn Tennis Academy organized a two-day open competition in the Phase-3 ground. The Punjab government will provide necessary facilities to the players. To make all the students healthy, their interest in sports will be developed.

These words were expressed by MLA Gurlal Ghanaur, who arrived as the chief guest. Academy's sports in-charge Loveleen Saini told the players that sports develop our physical as well as mental development.
On this occasion, Academy Secretary Manmohan Arora appealed to the people present to get their children involved in sports. Players from various schools/colleges enjoyed the two-day open tournament to the fullest. On this occasion, Tarus secured first place and Satpreet Kaur secured second place in the Under-10 category.
On this occasion, Ajiteshveer Singh secured first place and Kuvarjit Singh secured second place in the Under-12 category. On this occasion, Amninder Singh secured first place and Ajiteshvir secured second place in the under-14 category. On this occasion, Amninder Singh secured first place and Baviam secured second place in the under-16 category. On this occasion, Rasha Dhaliwal secured first place and Japnam Kaur secured second place.
On this occasion, Sukhwinder Singh and Tanveer Singh secured first place in the boys' doubles match, while Prabsifat Singh and Sahajpreet Singh secured second place. On this occasion, state awardee teacher Lakhwinder Singh also motivated all the players to take nutritious food. Coach Ekam Singh, Coach Jatinder arrived with full enthusiasm.
