Prof. Surinder Mand, Ravinder Singh Chot, Jagdev Singh Sandhu, Prof. B.S. Balli, Navtej Garhdiwala, Prof. Ajay Sehgal and other literature lovers were present on this occasion. Welcoming the literature lovers on this occasion, Prof. Surinder Mand said that Beant Bariwala is a very talented writer and he is making a distinct identity in the literary world with his first published novel. On this occasion, he presented some excerpts from his creation Dharti Di War, in which concern has been expressed over global environmental degradation and said that awareness is very important to maintain human existence.
Podcaster Samarjit Singh Shami said that this novel was first shared through Bhupinder Bharaj from Finland studio of Doaba Radio and then an initiative was taken to publish it in book form. With the help of writer Sikander Singh Aujla and other friends from America, this novel has reached the readers. Ravinder Singh Chot said that this novel does justice to its subject and has added to the treasure of Punjabi literature.
Prof. B.S. Balli made his creation Saidpur Rahi available and expressed happiness on the publication of the novel. Prince Navtej Gadhdiwala commented effectively on the psychology of the crowd through his creation Bhed Divas. Prof. Ajay Sehgal made an impressive presence through his beautiful musical composition. Advocate Rajan Saini said that with the creation of the book, the author and his characters become immortal. Through Rajjo Kamali, the author Beant Bariwala has created the story with complete honesty.
Thanking the dignitaries present on the occasion, author Beant Bariwala shared his experiences about the journey of the novel Rajjo Kamli. He said that inspired by an unfortunate girl who was a victim of the 1984 riots, he took up the task of writing her story and through this story he has tried to give verbal expression to the suffering of the victims of man's brutality.
Publisher Kuldeep Singh Deep also shared his views on the novel and also shared creations from his book Gucchi Dharti. Apart from literature lovers, Yogeshwar Salaria, Mandeep Singh Nakodar, Amarinder Singh Bal, Charanjit Kaur, Sukhwinder Kaur, Mandeep Kaur Doaba Radio, Amrit Kaur etc. were present on the occasion.
