New Delhi, September 2 - Aam Aadmi Party MLA Amanatullah Khan was arrested today by the Enforcement Directorate in Delhi. This arrest has been made in connection with the ongoing money laundering investigation against the MLA and some other matters. The ED conducted a search operation at the MLA's house in Okhla this morning. Later he was arrested under the provisions of Prevention of Money Laundering Act.
Earlier, the MLA had posted on social media and claimed that the Enforcement Directorate team had reached his house to arrest him. Sources said that the ED team has reached Amanatullah's house in Okhla in connection with the investigation in a money laundering case. He said that a team of Delhi Police and CRPF is stationed at the residence of the AAP MLA.
In a post on the social media platform 'X', Amanatullah said, "ED team has reached my house to arrest me." The MLA posted a video on social media and claimed, "He They have been responding to every ED notice, but despite all this, the ED team has arrived at my house to arrest me.
