
Humorous Kavi Darbar organized on the fourth day of 'Sahitya Utsav' dedicated to mother tongue
Patiala, February 21- Various issues were discussed in three academic sessions on the fourth day of the 'five-day Sahitya Utsav-2025' dedicated to International Mother Language Day, being organized by the Sahity Sabha of the Department of Punjabi at Punjabi University in collaboration with the language related departments of the university and the Department of Languages ??Punjab. The fourth day concluded with Humorous Kavi Darbar. Director of the Department of Languages, Jaswant Singh Zafar, who was present on the occasion, felicitated the scholars and poets present in various sessions.

The first academic meeting discussed the topic 'Masculinity and Femininity: Search for Origins' in which Dr. Ravel Singh and Renuka Singh composed the dialogue. During this dialogue, various concerns of women and various layers of masculinity were discussed. During the second meeting, 'Future of Punjabi Language: Prospects and Challenges' was discussed. Dr. Joga Singh, Dr. Boota Singh Brar, Dr. Sarabjit Singh and Dr. Sikander Singh participated in the discussion held in this meeting.
Dr. Rajwinder Singh established dialogue with these scholars. Various aspects related to the possibilities and challenges of Punjabi language were discussed in this meeting. Varinder Jetwani Ludhiana, Bajinder Thakur, Amritpal Coffee, Satish Dhawan, Charan Purdhi, Satish Vidrohi, Pandit Somnath Rode, Jagseer Jida, Sadhu Ram Langeana, Kanwaljit Bhol, Davinder Gill, Ashwani Kumar Gupta etc. participated in Hasya Kavi Darbar.
