Today a group of villagers led by Sarpanch Praveen Kumari reached the mining site and expressed their anger. Sarpanch Praveen Kumari, Rana Manohar Singh, Panch Kulwant Vicky and all the villagers said that we have brought this illegal mining to the notice of the administration many times but no attention is being paid to it.
He said that a crusher has been installed in 45-50 acres of land around our village, in which 250 feet mining has been done and the sanctity of the Shivalik hills has been damaged. He said that the government talks about keeping the environment clean by planting trees, but on the other hand, the environment is being damaged by destroying mountains and trees, while neither the government nor the administration is paying attention to this.
He said that the mining mafia is constantly trying to deceive the administration by extracting minerals from below and putting soil in it. The villagers have warned the government and the administration that if our demands are not heard, then all the villagers will unite and fight fiercely.
