Hoshiarpur- The Red Cross Society, running under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal, organizes camps from time to time and provides clothes to the needy, tricycles to the disabled, sewing machines and hygiene kits to women.
Giving information in this regard, District Red Cross Society Secretary Mangesh Sood said that taking this forward, all the employees of Red Cross distributed clothes to the needy living in slums and toys to children.
He said that the Red Cross team distributed clothes, shoes and toys to women, children and men living in slums of Haryana Bhunga on January 17 and distributed clothes, shoes and toys to the people living in slums of Bassi Wajid, Janauri, Hoshiarpur and Una Road, Hoshiarpur on January 20 and 21.
