Nawanshahr, April 30- Workers' united strength will be seen in the workers' conference being organized by Iftu on May 1 at Vishwakarma Mandir, Nawanshahr on International Labor Day.
Iftu District Committee meeting was held here today regarding the preparations of this conference, after which Iftu District President Gurdayal Rakkad and District Secretary Parveen Kumar Nirala said that more than one thousand workers including kiln workers, street vendors, construction workers, auto workers, Asha workers, Jugaadu street vendors and rural workers from across the district will participate in this conference. He said that preparations for this conference have been completed.
He said that this conference will run from 10 am to 3 pm. The conference will be addressed by the State President of Iftu and the leaders of the District Committee. Azad Rang-Manch Phagwara will present a play and choreography based on the life and struggle of Dr. BR Ambedkar. A performance will also be held in the city.
