Hoshiarpur- DAV College Management Committee President Dr. Anup Kumar and Secretary Shri R.M. Bhalla organized "Anusmaran-2025" Alumni Meet under the leadership of Principal Dr. Vidhi Bhalla at DAV College of Education, Hoshiarpur.
On this occasion, Prof. (Dr.) Jaspal Singh Sandhu (Vice Chancellor, Lovely Professional University, Phagwara and former Vice Chancellor, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar) attended as the chief guest. The event started with lighting the lamp.
During his speech, Dr. Jaspal Singh Sandhu shared his experiences with the alumni and inspired them to continue their higher education. He said that embrace the opportunities that come, continue to learn and leave a positive impact on the world.
Committee President Dr. Anup Kumar said that the main objective of the alumni meet is to guide the new teachers by sharing their special experiences with them. He expressed the hope that such an event can contribute to the development of the country.
Secretary Shri R.M. Bhalla congratulated all the alumni participating in the event and said that influential alumni share their experiences and skills with the new students and show the importance of staying connected to their roots.
College Principal Dr. Vidhi Bhalla welcomed all the alumni and guests of the 2020-2022, 2021-2023 and 2022-2024 sessions. He said that this alumni meet is a platform where alumni share their success stories with each other. He also informed about the various developments of the college and the quality education available to the students, modern library, internet facilities and other supportive activities.
Students from 2020 to 2024 participated enthusiastically in this alumni meet and said that they are proud to contribute to the service of the country by getting education from this great institution. During the function, the alumni shared songs, ghazals and beautiful moments of their student life.
The chief guest Prof. (Dr.) Jaspal Singh Sandhu, President Dr. Anup Kumar and Principal Dr. Vidhi Bhalla honored the members of the Alumni Association Shri Gautam Mehta (Chief Patron), Shri Harish Chandra Sharma (President), Shri Sharanjit Saini (Vice President), Shri Chandra Prakash Saini (Joint Secretary), and Shri Rachpal Singh (Commandant). 
Along with this, Sardar A.S. Tatra (Principal, Pleway Model School), Shri Amandeep Sharma (Principal, Government School, Sarhala), Madam Kiranpreet Kaur Dhami, Madam Timtani Ahluwalia, Madam Rupinder Kaur, Shri Rajesh Kumar, Sardar Asapur Singh and Sardar Varinder Singh Nimana and Shri Sanjeev Bakshi were also honored.
