
Thanks to free coaching provided by Khalsa Aid, youth from common homes became ADO and Jail Warden - 57 youths passed the written examination of Punjab Police
Chandigarh, January 14, 2024 - 57 youths from common homes of Punjab have qualified in the written paper of Subordinate Level for the post of Punjab Police. And 1 youth has taken over the post of Class One Officer on the post of ADO (Agricultural Development Officer) and 1 youth has taken over the post of Jail Warden. The entire tuition fee of all these children was borne by Khalsa Aid and books related to this study have been provided by Sabar Foundation.

The aim of this project, started in the year 2023 under the name Foundation Punjab, was to help those talented children of Punjab in their studies in every aspect, who kept missing out on appearing in bureaucratic level examinations due to financial reasons. On this occasion, Khalsa Aid Chief Bhai Ravi Singh congratulated the new team of Khalsa Aid India, including Foundation Punjab and Labasna IAS Academy, who are overseeing the Sikhia project under Focus Punjab. Bhai Ravi Singh encouraged the current youth to become more aware in the field of education.
He said that when Khalsa Aid started its service in Punjab in the year 2009, it had taken up the responsibility of educating children from needy families under the Sponsor-a-Child program under the Education project. Bhai Ravi Singh also spoke to ADO Dharampal Singh, who has become a Class-1 officer from the UK, through video call and congratulated him. Khalsa Aid India’s Operation Lead, Bhai Davinderjit Singh said that seven different social welfare projects are running under the Focus Punjab program run by Khalsa Aid, one of which is the Education project.
He said that under this project, Khalsa Aid is running Dashmesh Public School in Kakra village in Sangrur district, where highly qualified teachers are providing their services along with very good level of educational facilities. President of Sabar Foundation Jaspreet Singh Dahiya said that this project was started by him in the year 2023 with the great support of Khalsa Aid. In which more than 3691 children showed their interest. But more than 1000 children were enrolled on the basis of the test by Labasna IAS Coaching Academy, one of the top coaching academies in India. In which children from almost every district of Punjab prepared online and out of these, about 150 eligible children were prepared for this exam by getting offline and online coaching. As a result, the hard work of Khalsa Aid and Saber Foundation has paid off today and a total of 59 children have qualified the paper and 2 of them have taken up the positions.
He said that whatever financial need there is for education, it is being provided by Khalsa Aid. The children who need any kind of book related to education are provided by Saber Foundation. In this, Labasna IAS Academy has prepared the exams.
Jatin Bajaj, CEO of Labasna IAS Coaching Academy, said that all the professors who are coaching these children are highly qualified and have themselves appeared in these exams. The weekly mock interviews that are conducted consist of retired IAS PCS officers. He said that this is the first IAS coaching center in the whole of India to conduct 1 test weekly.
He said that the children who want to take advantage of this service can fill the online form on the sabar.org website and submit it. Khalsa Aid Asia Pacific Head Sardar Gurpreet Singh said that the goal of starting training for UPSC level exams was that after two years, the children can prepare for PPSC level and subordinate level papers and qualify. And as a result of which today these talented children have proven that the youth of Punjab are still capable of becoming officers.
Today, where most of the youth are increasing their tendency towards foreign countries, these youth are an example for them. Who have become able to serve their society and live a good life by studying in Punjab. Sardar Gurpreet Singh congratulated the entire Khalsa Aid India team, Sabar Foundation and Labasna IAS Coaching Academy for these results.
