Nawanshahr- District Magistrate, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar Rajesh Dhiman, exercising the powers vested in him under Section 163 of the Indian Civil Protection Act, 2023, has issued an order banning dangerous stunts with tractors and related equipment within the limits of District Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar.
The District Magistrate said that the Deputy Secretary, Punjab Government, Home Affairs and Justice Department (Home-5 Branch) has written in a letter that some incidents have taken place in the state in the past. In which youth have suffered serious injuries and one youth has also died during dangerous stunts with tractors and related equipment.
Therefore, orders have been issued banning dangerous stunts with tractors and related equipment. This order will be in force till March 9, 2025.
