Nawanshahr: Like every year, this year too, Shaheedi Samaroh was organized in Gurudwara Anandsar Sahib in nearby village Mubarakpur to commemorate the martyrdom of Sahibzadas, Mata Gujri Ji, Diwan Todarmal and Moti Mehra with great reverence.
 After the bhog of Akhand Path Sahib Ji, after Aarti Kirtan, in the open pandal, the Gyani Jatha remembered the unmatched martyrdom of Sahibzadas and inspired the youth of the present time to live a true, pure and simple life by learning from the sacrifices of Sahibzadas, taking guidance from the Bani and staying away from bad omens. 
On this occasion, Mahinder Singh, President of the Organizing Committee, expressed his gratitude to all the city dwellers and NRIs for their full cooperation. On this occasion, Joga Singh Sadhra shared his views on the life of Guru Sahib Ji and told about adopting the life test according to the teachings of Guru Sahib - Nam Japo, Kirat Karo, Wand Chhako. 
Village children Anhad Kaur, Navneet Kaur, Sarabjot Singh and Gurkirat Kaur paid tribute to Sahizadeh by reciting their poems and songs. Committee President Mahinder Singh, Satnam Singh, Jaswinder Singh, Joga Singh Sadhra, Gurjit Singh, Kesar Singh, Pakhar Singh, Sarabjit Singh, Kuldeep Singh Head Granthi, Gurmeet Singh, Charanjit Singh, Amarjit Singh Dilawar Singh Moti etc. were present on this occasion.
