Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, 16th December 2024: In exercise of powers conferred under Section 6 (1) (e) of the Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act-2012, Additional District Magistrate Viraj Shyamkaran Tidke has cancelled the license of M/s. Redvision Consultant Firm.
The Additional District Magistrate informed that M/s. Redvision Consultant Firm S.C.O. No. 123 Top Floor, Phase-7, Mohali, District Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, owner Gurpreet Singh Dhanjal son of Baljit Singh resident of House No. 91, Ajit Nagar, Patiala and partner Amit Kumar son of Mr. Chhotu Ram resident of House No. 420, M.C. Colony Behind Warehouse, Ward No. 1, Tehsil Charkhi Dadri, Haryana was issued a license No. 199/IC, dated 05.09.2018 for consultancy work under partnership. The validity of this license has expired on 04-08-2023.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner further informed that due to three cases being registered against the firm at Police Station Mataur and due to the licensee continuing to work without informing even after the dissolution of the partnership of the firm, the license of the firm was suspended for 90 days vide letter dated 14.7.2022.
The second partner of the firm, Mr. Amit Kumar, has informed this office vide his application dated 16-09-2021 that the partnership of the said firm was dissolved from 13-09-2018 itself. Therefore, he is not a partner in the said firm at present. Since the validity of the license has expired on 04-08-2023, the licensee was written to renew the license vide letter dated 25-10-2023 from this office. However, no response has been received from the licensee.
Based on the above mentioned situation regarding the firm, due to the suspension of the license as per the Act/Rules and Advisory, non-renewal of the license and non-compliance with the clauses of the license, the firm and the licensee have committed a violation under the provisions of Section 6(1)(e) of the Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act-2012.
Therefore, in view of the above facts, in exercise of the powers conferred under the provisions of Section 6(1)(e) of the Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act-2012, the license No. 199/IC dated 05-09-2018 issued to M/s. Radvision Consultant Firm, Mohali, District Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar for consultancy work has been cancelled/revoked with immediate effect.
Apart from this, as per the Act/Rules, if in future any complaint etc. is received against the said company/firm/partnership or its licensees/directors/partners of the firm, then the said company/directors/partners will be responsible in every respect for it and will also be responsible for compensating for it.
