Dean Colleges Development Council of India GNDU Amritsar on June 5, 2024 Principal Dr. Tarsem Singh Bhinder and Eco Club Coordinator Dr. Sunidhi Miglani at the Sikh National College Campus under the able guidance of Principal Dr. Invited to plant at least one sapling. Apart from this, he advised the students to take care of the plants planted by them and to reduce the use of single use plastic (SUP). He also informed the students about the positive effects of planting more trees and made them aware of the water conservation around their homes as well. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Tarsem Singh Bhinder, Dr. Kamaldeep Kaur, Dr. Sunidhi Miglani, Prof. Vipan, Prof. Jyoti Prakash, Dr. Shikha, Dr. Nirmaljit Kaur, Prof. Lovepreet Kaur and non-teaching staff members Mr. Chaman Lal, Mr. Sita Ram, Mr. Dinesh were present. Dr. Sunidhi Miglani also inspired the students to plant at least one sapling and take care of it, save water and reduce the use of plastic. All the staff members and students present in the plantation drive took a pledge to save the environment and spread awareness among their friends and families.
