Hoshiarpur- A new chapter in the field of social service began when Alliance Club Dasuha was formed under Alliance Clubs International, District 126-N. In the first meeting of the club, S. Amrik Singh Thakural was elected as the Charter President by simple consensus. Along with him, Shri Bhupinder Ranjan was appointed as Charter Secretary, S. Madan Mohan Singh Arora as Treasurer, and S. Tarlok Singh Arora as Public Relations Officer (PRO).
Many famous and service-minded people have joined this club as founder members. These include Dr. A.S. Basra, R.S. Maini, Dalbir Singh, Rajkumar Kaushal, Harjit Pal Singh, Rajan Ralhan, Ravinder Sharma, K.S. Puri, Dr. R.K. Nayyar, Dr. Harminder Singh, and Dr. Ranbir Singh Sahara.
In an interaction with senior journalist Sanjeev Kumar, Charter President S. Amrik Singh Thakural shared the vision and plans of the club. He said, “Our aim is to create a platform where like-minded people can come together and serve the society with a selfless spirit. We will take such initiatives at the grassroots level that will directly benefit the people of our area.”
