
Health Minister holds review meeting with DGHS and CMOs of Jhajjar, Gurugram and Sonipat;
Chandigarh, June 18 – Haryana Health and Family Welfare Minister Kumari Aarti Singh Rao today held a review meeting with the Director General of Health Services (DGHS) and Chief Medical Officers of Jhajjar, Gurugram and Sonipat at her Chandigarh residence.
Chandigarh, June 18 – Haryana Health and Family Welfare Minister Kumari Aarti Singh Rao today held a review meeting with the Director General of Health Services (DGHS) and Chief Medical Officers of Jhajjar, Gurugram and Sonipat at her Chandigarh residence.
The meeting focused on the availability of resources in the three districts with a detailed assessment of the implementation of health services and schemes. The Health Minister discussed the challenges prevailing at the ground level and reviewed the ongoing efforts to improve health service delivery.
Kumari Aarti Singh Rao stressed on the importance of sensitivity and accountability in service delivery. She directed all the officers to ensure that health services are accessible, responsive and patient-centric, especially for the disadvantaged and remote population.
He said that the quality of health services reflects our commitment towards the welfare of every citizen. We should ensure that every facility functions efficiently and every scheme reaches its intended beneficiary.
The Health Minister assured the officials of full cooperation with the State Government in terms of budgetary provisions, manpower requirements and upgradation of infrastructure.
He said that the State Government is fully committed to building a stronger, more inclusive and resilient civil health system in Haryana. DGHS Dr. Manish Bansal, DGHS Dr. Kuldeep Singh and other senior officers were present in the meeting.
