Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, June 18: District Magistrate, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, Mrs. Komal Mittal has issued orders under Chapter 11 (under Section 163) of the Indian Civil Security Code, 2023 (46 of 2023) to completely ban running non-vegetarian shops and dumping their garbage within one thousand meters (within the district boundary) of the Air Force Station in the district, so that there is no accident with aircraft and there is no loss of life and property. This order will remain in force from 11 June 2025 to 10 August 2025.
District Magistrate Komal Mittal said that it has come to her notice that many food shops have been opened by the general public around the Air Force Station, the waste of these items is thrown in the open, due to which carnivorous birds keep flying in the Air Force area.
There is always a fear of collision with an aircraft and causing an accident due to their flying, which also poses a threat to national security and also disrupts the services provided by the army.
As a result, there is a fear of law and order being disrupted. In view of this situation, these orders have been implemented to stop these activities.
