
Auto rickshaws and street vendors reprimanded in joint action by three departments
Patiala, February 28- Joint action was taken by three departments against auto rickshaws which have become a headache for the people near the new bus stand of Patiala. This action was taken under the joint leadership of PRTC Chairman Ranjodh Singh Hadana, Municipal Corporation Mayor Kundan Gogia, MD Bikramjit Singh Shergill, Joint Commissioner Babandeep Singh Walia, Traffic Incharge Karamjit Singh.
Patiala, February 28- Joint action was taken by three departments against auto rickshaws which have become a headache for the people near the new bus stand of Patiala. This action was taken under the joint leadership of PRTC Chairman Ranjodh Singh Hadana, Municipal Corporation Mayor Kundan Gogia, MD Bikramjit Singh Shergill, Joint Commissioner Babandeep Singh Walia, Traffic Incharge Karamjit Singh.
On this occasion, Chairman Ranjodh Singh Hadana said that as per the orders of the Punjab Government, the chief officers of each department have been ordered to do the public welfare works properly and promptly. Under this, strict orders have been given to the auto rickshaws and street vendors who have become a cause of trouble for the people outside the new bus stand to ply regularly.
Apart from this, strict action was also asked to be taken against these auto drivers for not following these orders. On this occasion, after the Municipal Corporation took strict action against the illegal vendors outside the bus stand and got them to vacate the place, Hadana said that soon another meeting will be held with the concerned officials of the administration in this regard.
The road outside the bus stand will be repaired in a better way so that the traffic can be smooth. On this occasion, PRTC GM Amanveer Tiwana, SDO Gurdanish Bir Singh and other officers and employees were present.
