Chandigarh, September 7:- Haryana Chief Minister Shri Nayab Singh Saini said that the youth power of Haryana is the greatest strength for the development of the state and for realizing Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's vision of a developed India by 2047. Giving proper direction to the energy, talent and capabilities of young people is a priority of the government. The Bharatiya Janata Party Youth Front is not merely a political organization, but an important medium for connecting young people with nation-building, social service and positive activities.
The Chief Minister was addressing the office-assumption ceremony of newly appointed state president of the Bharatiya Janata Party Youth Front, Shri Akshit Dahiya, at the Panchkamal State Bharatiya Janata Party office in Panchkula on Monday. He congratulated Shri Akshit Dahiya on his new responsibility and expressed confidence that under his leadership, the Youth Front would further strengthen the organization's reach among the youth of the state.
Youth Are Not Just the Future, but Builders of the Present
Shri Nayab Singh Saini said that today's youth are not merely the hope of the future, but are also playing an important role in building the present. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the country's youth are getting new opportunities in startups, skill development, new technology, entrepreneurship and employment. The youth of Haryana are demonstrating their talent in various fields, including sports, education, technology, industry, startups and defence.
He said that the state government's continuous effort is to provide young people with a better environment for employment, skill development, quality education, sports facilities and self-employment. Providing opportunities for young people's talent and making them self-reliant are among the government's priorities.
The Chief Minister said that the youth of Haryana have immense potential to take the state to new heights of development. The goal of a developed Haryana and a developed India can be achieved only by transforming youth power into the strength of the organization and the strength of nation-building.
Call to Engage with Young People at Every Polling Booth
The Chief Minister called upon Youth Front workers to reach every polling booth, engage in dialogue with young people and connect them with a positive outlook towards nation-building. He said that the Youth Front should also reach out to young people who are currently distant from politics. Active participation of youth in democracy plays an important role in giving a new direction to the country and society.
He said that youth workers should reach the last person in society and help needy families receive the benefits of the government's public welfare schemes. The Youth Front should make issues such as awareness against drug abuse, environmental protection, promotion of sports, positive dialogue on digital platforms and social service part of its campaigns.
Service and Organization are the Identity of the Bharatiya Janata Party
The Chief Minister said that a Bharatiya Janata Party worker does not stand with society only during elections, but remains with society in every situation. Service and organization are the hallmarks of the Bharatiya Janata Party's working culture. Youth Front workers should build their identity not only through political activities, but also through service and social concerns. He told newly appointed state president Shri Akshit Dahiya to benefit from the experience and guidance of senior workers, connect as many young people as possible with the organization and move forward by taking every worker along. He said that the organization and the government would extend full support to every positive effort related to the empowerment of young people.
He said that no position in the Bharatiya Janata Party is merely an honour, but a symbol of responsibility. In the party's working culture, a position means greater service, greater hard work and greater responsibility. He said that this is the distinctive feature of the Bharatiya Janata Party: even a hardworking worker from an ordinary family can reach an important position of responsibility in the organization through ability, hard work and dedication.
On this occasion, Bharatiya Janata Party state president Dr. Archana Gupta, Education Minister Shri Mahipal Dhanda, Tourism Minister Dr. Arvind Sharma, along with senior officials, Youth Front office-bearers and a large number of workers were present.
