Chandigarh:- Respected recruiter, delegate friend and every worker, with a heavy heart, I am resigning from all the positions and primary membership of the Shiromani Akali Dal, Surjit. Although it is very difficult to leave after building a house with my own hands.
But the circumstances have become such that there is no choice left. I deeply realize that for the recruitment conducted through the five-member recruitment committee, I worked very enthusiastically day and night and got most of you recruited.
And especially in Malwa, despite the personal pressure of the Badal family, I recruited all of Punjab including Malwa and outside Punjab and got the delegate friend elected. Which gave everyone hope that the party would be revived by electing a new, healthy leadership that was loyal to the Panth and Punjab.
But I have to say with a heavy heart that just as the Shiromani Akali Dal had made major mistakes in principle, my family had also left the political family ties with the Badal family from the beginning. Even though there were differences in ideological views with the party president, there was no lack of respect and dignity in terms of caste. But due to major ideological shortcomings, everything had been left behind and moved towards reform.
But I have to say with great sadness that today, even in the revival of the new party, the principles are not being safeguarded. So much so that in the five months after the election of the party president on August 11, no one was seen fighting for any public issues anywhere on earth, nor was any concrete program given to the party. Due to which the morale of every worker who is recruiting has almost broken.
So instead of criticizing anyone, I express my opinion through a line from the Bani of Guru Sahib that

"Hum nahi chhey bura nahi koi"
I hope that the leadership that has been stirred up by the path of reform for revival can still correct itself, then the party can improve and the party can succeed. These are my best wishes for my party.
I also hope that no one will get into any kind of rhetoric with me because responding from me will cause great loss to this group. I do not want to harm this second reform movement that I started by writing the first letter at any cost. That is why I left work from 13 October 2025 and quietly sat at home. But life is not about sitting still, this wheel keeps turning and then it is called life.
Wherever God wants, He will take up service for the Panth and Punjab in the coming time.
