Sri Amritsar Sahib- Senior leader of Shiromani Akali Dal (Punar Surjit) and SGPC member Jathedar Mithu Singh Kahneke has expressed strong objection to the use of the golak of the Shiromani Committee by the Badal Dal for political gain in the Tarn Taran by-election. Jathedar Kahneke said that he had expressed his apprehension when SGPC President Harjinder Singh Dhami became the president that a big deal had been struck between Sardar Dhami and Sukhbir Singh Badal. 
Under this deal, the SGPC can not only give political gain to Sukhbir, but also do other big anti-sect activities. The fear of misuse of SGPC's golak and its use for political gain has turned into reality, to save Sukhbir Singh Badal's politics, SGPC is going to give 60 jobs for Tarn Taran constituency. Sukhbir Badal is using SGPC like his personal company.
Jathedar Kahneke, while releasing a video claiming 60 jobs, has asked SGPC President Harjinder Singh Dhami whether Harjinder Singh Dhami will give an explanation on this? Jathedar Kahneke said that during the last term, Dhami used the politics of pressure by resigning. Under this politics of pressure, a deal was made between Sukhbir and Dhami. Under the deal, the Jathedar, who was not approved by the community, was crowned in installments and Dhami was made the president of SGPC.
Jathedar Kahneke said that the result of the bargaining is that today, jobs are being given under the influence of Sukhbir Badal to get political benefits in the Tarn Taran by-election. He demanded that a committee be formed to investigate this entire matter, this is a big scam, which the Sikh community cannot tolerate. Until the investigation is completed, Sardar Harjinder Singh Dhami should resign as the president and step aside, so that the investigation is not influenced in any way.
