Patiala:- On the occasion of International Yoga Day, Vista Processed Food Private Limited organised a special awareness programme for its employees and their family members. The programme focused on promoting a healthy, fit, safe, prosperous and progressive lifestyle through yoga, cooperation, safety awareness and regular physical exercise.
Chief Trainer of the First Aid, Safety and Health Awareness Mission, Mr. Kaka Ram Verma, while addressing the gathering and conducting yoga-related activities, said that yoga is not merely a set of physical exercises but a complete way of life that helps individuals remain healthy, disease-free, energetic and strong for a long time. He emphasized that food grown in pure soil, clean water, fruits, vegetables, pulses and grains play a vital role in maintaining good health and well-being.
He further stated that a clean environment, pure air and a tolerable climate form the foundation of a healthy and happy life. Therefore, everyone should make sincere efforts to protect and preserve the purity of the earth, sky, air, fire and water. He added that cultivating humanity, love, compassion, patience, peace, humility and discipline in one’s thoughts, emotions and behaviour is also an essential aspect of yoga.
Mr. Verma advised that walking at least 1,000 metres daily with family members, spending 30 to 40 minutes exercising, playing outdoor games, walking in parks and practicing yoga regularly can significantly improve physical and mental well-being. He also highlighted the importance of contributing towards the welfare of society, the nation and the environment.
Speaking on the occasion, DGM Mr. Varun Bhardwaj and Senior Manager (HR) Mr. Rajinder Lamba said that fulfilling responsibilities towards the nation, society, families, institutions and the environment, while adhering to laws, principles, duties, honesty and loyalty, are also forms of true yoga.
Manager Production Mr. Shubham Dhiman and Assistant Manager (HR) Mr. Pawan Kumar expressed gratitude to all participants and stated that the company remains committed to the safety, health, prosperity and overall development of its employees and their families. They said that such awareness programmes are organised regularly with the help of subject experts to provide valuable knowledge and guidance.
They further emphasized that promoting peace, harmony and brotherhood in homes, residential colonies and workplaces, and striving for a bright, safe and prosperous future, are the real manifestations of yoga in everyday life.
