Hoshiarpur:- Civil Surgeon Hoshiarpur Dr. Mandeep Kamal held a video conference with all the senior medical officers of the district regarding the progress of the Chief Minister's Health Scheme (MMSY) today. During this, he directed to complete the target of the scheme by 13 April 2026 under all circumstances.
The Civil Surgeon appreciated those blocks where a large number of cards have been made by ASHA workers and said that their work has also been appreciated by the Deputy Commissioner. He also directed the blocks with less progress to immediately improve their performance and increase the supervision of ASHA workers.
He said that at least 25 cards should be made daily of patients coming to the OPD through Community Health Officers in Health and Wellness Centers and this work should be reviewed regularly. The Civil Surgeon said that a total target of 2 lakh 31 thousand cards has been set for the district, out of which about 70 thousand cards are yet to be made. Therefore, all the health workers should accelerate this campaign with teamwork and complete the target.
