Hansi:- The foundation stone for Shaheed Rao Tularam Chowk, located at the entrance of Hansi city near the Delhi Bypass, was formally laid by Angoori Devi, the oldest woman in the area, a resident of Dhana Khurd village, under the chairmanship of MLA Vinod Bhayana.
Addressing the foundation stone laying ceremony, MLA Vinod Bhayana said that saints, great men, and martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the honor and dignity of the country do not belong to any particular caste, but are an invaluable asset to the entire nation. He said that Shaheed Rao Tularam was a great warrior of the 1857 revolution. Following his ideals can further strengthen the nation. He added that the construction of a Chowk in his name in Hansi is a matter of pride for the entire region.
The MLA also announced a donation of five lakh rupees for the construction of Shaheed Rao Tularam Chowk.
**Service to humanity is the ultimate goal:
MLA Vinod Bhayana stated that he has been elected MLA three times with the blessings of people from 36 communities. He clearly stated that he does not believe in casteism. If he believed in casteism, the people of the area would not have elected him MLA again and again. He said that we all belong to one caste—humanity. Serving people of all religions and all classes is his life's goal. He also called on all citizens to follow the principle of service to humanity.
**Blessings from a 101-year-old woman:
During the event, the MLA touched the feet of 101-year-old Angoori Devi and sought her blessings. Angoori Devi is the grandmother of Gokuldham Trust director Manoj Yadav. The MLA expressed his gratitude to Gokuldham Society directors Vishnu Sharma, Rajpal Yadav, Manoj Yadav, Kulbir Ahlawat, and all the members for donating 200 square yards of land for the construction of Shaheed Rao Tularam Chowk.
**Statue to be installed soon:
In his address, Rajpal Yadav stated that the work on the statue of martyr Rao Tularam will be carried out on a war footing. He stated that the square will be given a grand and attractive look. Efforts will be made to install the tallest statue in Haryana. Rajpal Yadav expressed gratitude for the financial support provided by 36 communities.
**Announcement to donate a statue of the martyr
On this occasion, Jhajjar resident Rao Dharampal announced the donation of a statue of martyr Rao Tularam.
