Patiala:- To achieve the objectives of economic reform, social respect etc. of the Scheduled Tribes, the tribal society organization is running the Samaj Jodo Aangde Bado awareness campaign under the leadership of National President Ram Lal Ramu and 5-member committees are being formed at the ward level and appointments of ward presidents are being made.
Under which a full-fledged meeting was held by the Dheha community at Bhim Nagar near Safabadi Gate under ward number 23. In which the leading leader of the tribal society organization, National President Ram Lal Ramu and senior leader Ram Kumar Kandaravallo specially participated. During which Ward President Balbir Chand from Ward number 29 also attended the meeting. After discussion, Sahil Kandaravallo was unanimously appointed as the ward president from Ward number 23.
Along with this, a 5-member committee was formed at the ward level by assigning responsibilities to Rimpi Kumar, Chandan Kumar, Akbar and Maxi. On this occasion, National President Ram Lal, while addressing the meeting, said that the Scheduled Castes are an important part of the fabric of the country, which are economically backward due to lack of education and lack of awareness.
The governments of the time have not taken concrete steps to lift them above the poverty line. Therefore, the development of the tribal society is possible only with social consciousness, awareness of education and struggle. On this occasion, a resolution was also given to work in the interest of the society and to eliminate the evils that pollute the society.
