Mahilpur, July 23 - Raunki Sawan Mela Teeyan Da Society registered in village Mahmadowal Khurd organised a Teeyan Da Mela in village Mahmadowal Khurd with the support of village panchayat, city residents and area residents. Madam Sonia, sister-in-law of Aam Aadmi Party MP Dr. Rajkumar and wife of Dr. Jitendra Kumar, was specially present in the programme. On this occasion, while thanking the organisers of the programme, she said that fairs are a symbol of our ancient culture. Such fairs should continue to be organised, giving the message of brotherhood. On this occasion, she expressed her happiness by dancing with the girls. She was specially honoured by the society by giving her a symbol of Punjabi culture. The daughters-in-law of the village together presented songs, dramas and choreographies depicting Punjabi culture and at the end of the program, all the women present in the program gathered and started refreshing the memories of the ancient heritage.
