Hoshiarpur: Punjab Cabinet Minister for Jails and NRI Affairs, Dr. Ravjot Singh, shared excellent news for the residents of the Shamchurasi Assembly constituency, announcing that the construction of two new bridges over the *Chos* at Hargarh and Dadiana has been approved, and tenders have already been floated by the PWD Department.
He stated that the construction of these bridges would provide permanent relief to thousands of local residents from commuting difficulties and give fresh momentum to the development of the villages.
Dr. Ravjot Singh informed that the bridge over the Hargarh *Cho* would be 80 meters long, while a robust bridge spanning 102.36 meters would be constructed over the Dadiana *Cho* using modern technology.
He noted that people previously faced significant hardships due to the strong water currents in these *Chos* during the monsoon season. Once the bridges are completed, commuting will become easier and safer for school students, farmers, traders, and the general public.

He affirmed that the Punjab Government is committed to fulfilling every promise made to the people and will ensure there is no shortfall in development works.
Congratulating all the residents of the Shamchurasi Assembly constituency on this significant project, Dr. Ravjot Singh stated that these bridges would prove to be milestones in the region's development.
