Banga:- Today, a joint meeting of farmers'-workers' and Powercom's organizations was held at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Foundation Khatkar Kalan to implement the call of a joint platform of farmers-workers-employees and other struggling organizations.
Which included Malkit Singh Mandhali Circle Secretary Pensioners Association, Balwinder Singh Nowra Circle Secretary TSU, Nand Lal Circle President TSU (Bhangal), Ashok Kumar JE Circle Secretary Employees Federation, Kanwar Jaswinderpal Singh State Secretary Pensioners Welfare Federation, Maniram Circle Secretary and Ram Asra Circle President Pensioners Employees Federation, Ravi Kumar and Vinod Kumar Division Leaders Powercom and Transco Contract Employees Union, Mohan Singh Langroa State Secretary Employees Federation (Pehalwan), Tarsem Singh Bains and Sohan Singh Atwal District Leaders Kirti Kisan Union, Buta Singh Mahmudpur State Leader Democratic Rights Sabha, Hariram Rasulpuri District Leader Rural Workers Union, Harpal Singh Jagatpur District Leader Democratic Kisan Sabha, Joginderpal State Committee Member Kul Hind Khet Mazdoor Union, Baljit Singh, Balvir Singh, Sucha Singh, Gurdeep Singh Sahlon and Revolutionary singer Dharmendra Masani joined.
Giving information about the decisions of the meeting, the leaders said that the Electricity Amendment Bill proposed by the central government, the imposition of four labor codes by abolishing labor laws and the new law ‘Ji Ramji’ made by repealing MGNREGA and the free trade agreements are not only big attacks on farmers, laborers, electricity workers and MGNREGA workers but they are a very dangerous conspiracy against the interests of the entire Indian people.
Farmers, laborers, employees, students-youth, women and other struggling sections of Punjab will join hands to agitate vigorously against these attacks of privatization-commercialization-corporatization being carried out by the central government, for which preparation will be done from December 28 to January 4 in the entire Punjab through tractor-vehicle march, flag march, drum demonstration, tractor march, motorcycle march, rallies and meetings to make people aware against this attack.
Under this call, the leaders reviewed the preparations for holding a tractor-vehicle march with enthusiasm in Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar district. The meeting unanimously decided that the tractor-vehicle march in Banga area by all the organizations will start from Khatkar Kalan on January 3, which will end at Mukandpur bus stop via Banga city, Bharomzara-Dusanjh Khurd, Bhukhari-Nagra, Karnana, Majara Raja Sahib, Gunachaur-Gehal Majari route. 
The leaders have called for strengthening the people's movement against all these attacks of privatization-corporatization and have strongly appealed to all the people to join this march in full swing.
