Chandigarh, July 4:- The state government has taken a big step towards establishing Haryana on the major tourism map of the country. Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini, in an important review meeting held with the top officials of the Tourism Department, has directed to develop the historical Yadvindra Garden of Pinjore and the beautiful Tickertal of Morni Hills as per modern and international standards.
Under this ambitious project, a proposal has been prepared to spend about Rs 90 crore on the renovation and modernization of both the major tourist places. This initiative of the government will not only give new wings to tourism in Haryana, but will also significantly increase employment at the local level and the revenue of the state.
Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini has asked to develop a magnificent "One Stop Destination for Wedding" equipped with modern facilities near Yadvindra Garden in line with the 'Wed in India' vision of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, which will generate additional revenue for the Tourism Department. This high-tech wedding destination will have all the modern facilities including a convention center and exhibition center.
Along with this, a luxurious hotel will also be constructed here on the public private partnership mode, which will have a state-of-the-art helipad facility on its roof so that guests coming from the country and abroad can reach here directly by air.

Adventure Park, boating and haunted-house and other tourist attractions will be rejuvenated in Tickertal
Dr. Amit Agarwal informed the Chief Minister that the historical and traditional heritage of Yadvindra Garden will be fully preserved during the development works. To attract tourists, state-of-the-art musical fountains, a beautiful butterfly park and a charming aquarium will be built here without tampering with the original form of the garden, so that the futuristic and lighting of this garden at night can become the main attraction for tourists.
Apart from this, the existing facilities there will be completely renovated to make the famous Tickertal located near Morni the first choice of adventure lovers. Other tourist attractions including adventure park, boating and haunted-house will be renovated in Tickertal, so that this natural place can prove to be a very exciting, beautiful and unforgettable journey for tourists.
