Chandigarh, January 7:- Haryana Health Minister Aarti Singh Rao today organized a public hearing at her official residence in Chandigarh and listened to the problems of citizens from different districts of the state seriously. On this occasion, a large number of people reached with issues related to public welfare including health services.
On this occasion, the Health Minister listened to each person carefully and gave clear instructions to the concerned department officials for immediate and effective resolution of the problems. She said that timely resolution of public problems is the highest priority of the government.
Giving clear instructions to the senior officials present during the public hearing, Aarti Singh Rao said that all complaints should be resolved within the stipulated time frame and regular monitoring should be done for this. He also asked the officials to ensure immediate resolution in cases where immediate action is possible and to apprise the person concerned of the situation in complex cases.
The Health Minister said that programs like Jansunwai are a powerful medium to establish direct dialogue between the government and the public. This not only provides accurate information about the problems but also helps in making the administrative system better. He said that the aim of the government is to ensure that no citizen has to go astray for government services.
Aarti Singh Rao said that nowadays digital technology is being used more and more in government services so that the services become transparent, fast and effective. He directed the officials to further strengthen the online grievance redressal system so that people can register their complaints sitting at home and get information about their status.
The Health Minister further said that the Haryana Government is continuously working for the welfare of the people and all possible steps are being taken for the improvement in the health sector. He assured that the problems of the people will be taken seriously and they will be resolved and such public hearings will continue in the future as well.
He said that health Haryana is the basis of a strong Haryana and for this the government, administration and society will have to work together.
Furthermore, the Health Minister said that the sub-health center located in village Sidhravali of Gurugram district has been approved to be upgraded to a primary health center. About Rs. 36 lakh has also been approved for the appointment of staff in this.
