Hoshiarpur:- Providing better connectivity and major relief to the people of the Kandi area, the Punjab Government will construct three major bridges, for which Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann has released funds worth 20 crore rupees. Addressing a massive gathering at village Dada, Lok Sabha Member from Hoshiarpur, Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal, said that these three bridges will be built over Badla Choe, Manjhi Choe, and Bhangi Choe, and their construction work is going to start within a few days. 
He stated that these bridges will prove to be a major boon for the residents of the Kandi area, as it had been a long-standing demand of the people to be provided with this facility. He mentioned that this demand had been pending since the time he was an MLA, and now the Aam Aadmi Party government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has finalized the project after completing all the formalities.
Speaking about the problems faced by the people during the monsoon and rainy days in the Kandi region due to the lack of these bridges, MP Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal said that after the completion of these bridges, the annual hardships faced by the locals will be completely resolved. He informed that the bridge over Badla Choe will be constructed at a cost of 6.46 crore rupees, over Manjhi Choe at 5.93 crore rupees, and over Bhangi Choe at a cost of 8.11 crore rupees. 
He added that apart from the Kandi area, the upgradation of roads is being carried out on a large scale across Hoshiarpur district, under which most of the roads are being widened to 18 feet so that commuters do not face any inconvenience. 
Lok Sabha Member Dr. Chabbewal said that the Aam Aadmi Party government has worked in the interest of every section of Punjab, whether it is industry, farming, power sector, social security, education, health, or strengthening the basic infrastructure. On this occasion, Dr. Jatinder Kumar, Sarpanch Surinder Singh, Kashmiri Lal, and other prominent personalities were present.
