Ratia, October 7 - The Sarva Samaj Sabha, led by its president, Satpal Jindal, submitted a memorandum to SDM Surendra Singh regarding the city's problems. The main demands were:
A master plan should be developed for stormwater drainage, sewerage cleaning, street cleaning, and traffic congestion.
In addition, the city's sewerage should be cleaned and special arrangements should be made to address the city's traffic congestion. The Sabha members also demanded that action be taken to improve sanitation in all wards. Furthermore, newly constructed stormwater drainage drains should be cleaned of bricks, silt, and dirt.
The Sarva Samaj Sabha demanded that all construction and repair work in the city be carried out under the supervision of a monitoring committee to ensure that all construction and repair work is carried out in accordance with regulations. Apart from this, the municipality has filled potholes with gravel at some places in the city, but in many places the potholes are yet to be filled. The Sarva Samaj Sabha demanded SDM Surendra Singh to resolve the problems mentioned in the memorandum with immediate effect.
On this occasion, Sabha members including Sher Singh Bhullar, Narendra Grover, Bhupendra Saini, Vinod Jindal, Sunil Indora were present.
