Ambala: Dr. O.P. Arya, ophthalmologist and former CMO, eye surgeon, and managing director of Sanjivani Eye Care and Health Center, Ambala City, delivered a lecture on eye care to students, teachers, and Rotarians. Dr. Arya advised students, teachers, and Rotarians to take care of their eyes.
The Rotary Club also organized a painting competition on the occasion, in which approximately 50 students participated. The club presented Dr. O.P. Arya with a memento and a bouquet.
Dr. Arya assured the school of all possible support and plans to organize eye screening camps at the school in the future. The club thanked Dr. Arya and the school management.Rotarian Dr. R.S. Dhillon was the project director for this project.
Rotarian President Dr. Joginder Singh, Sat Pal Grover, Prof. Gurdev Singh, Ajay Singh Rathore, Dalip Mehta, Raj Kumar Sharma, Anil Sehgal, Vijay Chopra, Chand Chawla, Rita Thapar, and Virinder Dureja were present.
Principal Sarita Adalkhah specially thanked Dr. Arya and the Rotary Club for organizing such an event. The club awarded notebooks, pens, and chocolates to the first three students and notebooks and pens to all participating students.
